Sisi's growing!

Sisi now has 2 teeth on the lower jaw and is scooting on her tummy all around our apartment. She loves being a little more mobile. She has fun following us or going after a toy, it makes Gimmy and I laugh to watch her little legs and arms working to hard and her head bouncing up and down as she goes from one place to the other. Sisi scooting

This is at Cave di Miano, where we scouted out a place for future sport climbing. Sisi was incredable interested by the tall grass.

Feeding Sisi... is a mess! Im not even sure any food gets into her mouth.

Sleepy heads.

Just outside Florence, near Fiesole, we found another small town to have lunch one afternoon. Every little town is so cute and interesting with its own good resturants and churches, it is fun to explore them.

Castello di Gabbiamo and our CAR!

We met some friends at the Castello di Gabbiamo for dinner.

This castel is located in Chiani and is absolutly beautiful.

The castel produces its own wines and olive oils, as there are vineyards all over the land, we had a bottle of wine that was a "Super Tuscany" qualifier. The wine was fantastic!

This is our car! A Fiat Panda! Black with black and tan interior and 4x4. We love this car.

Our New Yacht Club and Boat

The new boat, the Open 5.70, arrived! Happy day for Gimmy! While Gimmy put the boat away Sisi and I lounged in the yacht club park and enjoyed the sun.
This is in front of the yacht club and the park.

Our Kitchen

Our kitchen, is very small, but so cute!
My first attempt at Pappa al Pomadoro, a classic Toscana dish.

Portovenere with Sisi's great grandparents

My grandparents, Max and Nancy, were on a Mediterranean cruise and had a stop in Livorno for a day. Livorno is about an hour away, so we met with them at their ship and went to the beautiful Portovenere about an hour north, just below Cinque Terre.
We had lunch a very nice lunch at this restaurant.

Walk to Piazzale Michelangelo

One of our favorite walks is up to Piazzale Michelangelo. We walk threw tiny streets and pass by some beautiful villas and gardens. We later drove up this way and almost got our car stuck because one of the streets were so narrow we had to back up and take a different route.
