Rosita's Birthday Party!

Rosita's birthday party! This was a "dress crazy" ( or dress arabian) party, the results were pretty funny...

Here come some guests!
Lounging out side on the terrazza.
The birthday girl!

Dancing! Kind of blurry, but I wanted to capture Rosita's blue light up glasses, can you see them?

Gimmy and Sisi, Sisi was having so much fun with all the people and music she was dancing and running all over the place.

Friends!
She's getting sleepy!

Pizzo Trip

Gimmy's sister Daniela and her friend, getting ready for our party.
BBQ time

Having lunch

Silvia playing games with Sisi and Mario

The start of my wall design, I had to paint the wall in intervals, as you can see who wanted to play!

My design, I painted on the wall freehand, it's not perfect but thats okay! It was a fun project for me to do.

Mario and Sisi on the terrazza having a snack, aperativo!

View from the house on our last day in Pizzo. The weather had be very "iffy". Raining in the morning and only a few hours of sun in the afternoon. So we didnt get much beach time this trip... But the weather did make some amazing sunsets. You can see the volcano/island Stomboli in the distance, I zoomed in on the photo below.

Stromboli

Sisi's New Bangs

Sisi, before and after I cut her bangs...

Villa Demidolff

We went to Villa Demidoff to an event to see animals and to have lunch outdoors in the beautiful and historic park. There were a LOT of people and I had a hard time taking pictures of animals let alone Sisi AND the animals. So here are the photos from our little outing at the outdoor fair ( about 15 minute from Florence)

Sisi and some little ducklings
Some big cows

Gimmy's favorite part... the tractors.
Sisi's favorite part... the balloon.
Remember these huge beasts from another post? This animal that is on the menu as bistecca fiorentina (large yummy steak)

Wow, these guys are huge!
You see the Giant behind me? That is the Colossus Apennine by Giambologna around the year 1580. It is a really magnificent sculpture.

Having a snack in the park. The park is so big and we had been walking around for a while we never made it to the actual villa. The Villa was owned by the Medici family, it was later bought by a Russian family (therefore Demidolf) and have been tranformed over the years but still remains one of the most beautiful places in Tuscany.
