Palm Springs for Valentine's Day

For Valentines Day weekend we went to Palm Springs and visited with our friends, Morgan and Wisconsin. We went to this great place called Cabots Pueblo which is now a museum. Cabot, a determined entrepreneur, decided to make this pueblo when he was 60. It took him 20 years to build (but it is actually not finished), with little help from his son and a few other people, and it is made completly from things he found and recycled it for his pueblo. This was an amazing structure with about 35 rooms and over 100 windows and about 40-50 doors. Totally not ADA, which was the fun part, very creative! It was so fun to be inside with its thin doors and stairways, it was cabin like, lots of wood, cement made from the sand where the building sits, old telephone poles, it is an amazing place.

Here is part of the pueblo, you can see the taller towers in the back were the guest rooms are. There is also a guest house next to this pueblo.

Going for a hike! There is a beautiful mountain range right behind our friends house. Hold on Sisi!

The end of our hike, we are sitting on top of a boulder.

Sisi with Mamma on top of the boulder.

All that hiking wore her out, cute little thing!
